what it feels like to be a casual member of a drama filled fandom
(via bloodybookworm)
I guess the reason I can’t really see the comparisons between Dair & Steroline is because where Caroline has helped build Stefan up at his lowest, just like he did her, all Blair did was put Dan down pre-dating. Steroline is more of an mutual respect kind if friendship, whereas Dair had it’s rough patches before Blair really considered Dan to being even remotely close to her “high-standing.”
Not trying to start an argument or anything, just my thoughts
Daniel’s sounds like Chuck Bass right now with his all whispering. Is it a British-actor-playing-an-American-character thing?
You didn’t love him.
You just didn’t want to be alone.
Or maybe he was just good for your ego. Or, or maybe he made you feel good about your miserable life.
But you didn’t love him.
Because you don’t destroy people you love.
And it hurts.
I ain’t got no magic potion
All I know is that we’re better off together than we ever were alone
My Top OTPs (In No Particular Order):
Dair, Brucas, Delena, Matthew +Mary, Galeniss, Peeniss
Now that I’m comparing Revenge to Gossip Girl, Daniel is definitely the Nate of this show - gorgeous to look at but as clueless as ever
Jerenny AU Part 1:
Before Little J lost herself (and her virginity) in the unforgiving world of the UES. Before Little Gilbert was forced to grow up by losing everyone he ever loved. Before, there was just Jenny and Jeremy.
Friends who had lived side-by-side their whole lives, sharing family moments with each other since the moment they had both been born. They had seen each other at their best, and they had helped each other through their worst. They had grown to become best friends in every possible sense. Then Jenny’s parents divorced. And given the ultimatum of choosing between her parents, her love for her dad sent her on a flight to New York to start off her high school career there. Soon after Jeremy’s life also followed suit in unprecedented changes when his parents died in a car accident, forcing his sister and him to move in with his Aunt Jenna in the small town known as Mystic Falls.
And now, years later, after she’s banned from her city for having sex with the UES’s self-proclaimed Princess’ boyfriend, and he’s compelled to leave town when things get too dangerous back home - Fate steps in to bring them back together to the place where their story began.

He spots her first. She’s walking out of a small shop that looks like it could be an agency of some sort. He’s heading home after hanging out with his friend Kol. It doesn’t take long for her to return his gaze and for a small smile to appear on her face and disappear just as quickly as it came. She makes the first steps towards him. He hesitates for a moment, but before long they’ve already meet halfway. And when the silent staring contest becomes too unbearable, she speaks first.
“You’re back”
“We both are, apparently” he says.
He doesn’t smile. He doesn’t even try to look or seem happy, excited even, to see her. She tries to find a trace of the old, fun-loving sweet Jeremy she once knew, but she comes up empty. Of course to expect him to be the same after all this time wouldn’t be fair. Especially when she realizes that the old her is so long gone that it almost seems impossible to go back to being her former self - so happy, so heart-breakingly innocent.
She doesn’t smile either. And then for what seems like an eternity, they try to find each other again. They search each other’s faces for any slight moment of recognition - something to connect their former lives to now. But it’s no use. Because he’s not the guy who’s smile comes so naturally anymore. And she doesn’t wear the same confidence she once did.
They’re lost.
