Sorry not sorry for all the Dair spamming in advance. I am going to rape the reblog button tonight with all that is Dair, as sort of a therapeutic way for me to somehow (not really) get closure that they are not endgame. These pictures/quotes/memories are all that I have left after tonight’s series finale and I’m trying to convince myself that my OTP wasn’t completely destroyed to the point of it being no longer recognizable after this past season.
Thank you for your patience in advance.

Because that’s exactly how you should be feeling when the love of your life is about to propose to you
I love how the writer’s are going to somehow justify Chuck letting his dad die next episode. I mean yes, Bart definitely wins the worst father of the year award, but he’s still his father for crying out loud. And now we’re just expected to believe that in certain circumstances it’s ok to let people die, even when you have the power to prevent it.
And call me a “bitter dair fan” all you want, it still doesn’t change the fact that this show is complete shit now.
I mean I know logic isn’t exactly the writer’s strong suit, but I just find Dan being GG the most ridiculous “OMFG” moment of the series. It’s like you can’t even make this shit up anymore. Think of all the stupid storylines a teen drama can have, and this show has done them. And more . If Dan does in fact turn out to be Gossip Girl, I guess it’ll just convince me further of how bad this show has gotten over the years and I’ll finally get some closure.
2 more episodes…..
a moment of silence for all the otps that will never become canon or endgame

Mark with Brucas
or
GGwriters with Dair
Most importantly, none of OTH’s characters were sacrificed in order to make Leyton happen. Brucas also got a breakup scene and we were allowed some kind of closure. Plus Leyton had been hinted for awhile so it wasn’t the biggest shocker either. Also Peyton never sold Lucas for her record label right? That’s gotta count for something. Although I preferred the Brucas endgame, at least I could stand them being together. Leyton was a healthy relationship, not perfect, but more stable than Chair will ever be. And when Brooke moved on it was with someone new who did nothing but love her unconditionally and respect her. This vs: Sacrificing every single character/ storyline on the show just to make Chair happen. Never getting a breakup scene, or any scene promising closure for that matter. Blair’s renewed feelings for Chuck also came out of nowhere when there had been no hint of trouble in paradise for Dair until the season finale. The hotel-selling is self-explanatory. And finally, they basically made Dan settle for Serena. Instead of introducing someone new for him, they brought him back to the one person that he has hurt the most and vice versa. All so the angry Chair stans could get their fairytale ending. Mark at least kept his integrity when he wrote his show. For me there is no real competition on which ending was worse.

Do you remember the nights
We’d stay up just laughing
Smiling for hours
At anything
Remember the nights
We drove around crazy in love
When the lights go out
We’ll be safe and sound
We’ll take control of the world
Like it’s all we have to hold on to
And we’ll be a dream
